Leslie Smallwood-Lewis received her Bachelor of Science from Brown University and her jurisdoctorate from Villanova University School of Law. She started her real estate career in 2001. Leslie joined the Goldenberg Group, a regional mid-sized real estate development firm located in Blue Bell, PA, as an Associate Development Director. During her 7-year tenure, she was promoted three times ultimately achieving the position of Senior Vice-President of Development. In 2008, Leslie and her partner established Mosaic Development Partners. Since its founding, Mosaic has developed over $120 million in real estate projects and has created hundreds of construction jobs and full-time jobs. In 2017 Mosaic was awarded a Preservation Alliance Jury Award for its Eastern Lofts project. In August 2019, it was featured in The NY Times. In 2020, Leslie and her partner Greg were ranked in the top 76 Most Influential People in Philadelphia and selected as co-master developer for the next phase of development of the Philadelphia Navy Yard.
