The Philadelphia Land Bank is a powerful tool to return vacant and tax-delinquent properties to productive use. It hopes to simplify the process of transferring properties from public agencies to private owners. This presentation will revisit the history of the formation of the Philadelphia Land Bank, including the intention and vision. Secondly, it will provide an update on implementation progress since its inception, and the challenges it is still working to overcome.
