David Brownlee
David Brownlee, FSAH, is an historian of modern architecture and an emeritus professor of the history of art at Penn. His wide-ranging scholarship on European and American topics includes architectural histories of the Philadelphia Museum of Art (1997) and the Barnes Foundation (2012) and Building the City Beautiful: The Benjamin Franklin Parkway and the Philadelphia Museum of Art (new edition 2017).
Harris Steinberg
Harris Steinberg, FAIA, is an urban planner and executive director of the Lindy Institute for Urban Innovation. Previously, as founding director of Penn Praxis at the University of Pennsylvania, he led the civic engagement and design process that created the award-winning 2007 plan for the central Delaware River. This was followed in 2013 by “More Park, Less Way,” a proposal for the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
