Recently named as the next executive director of the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia, Paul Steinke will share thoughts on his 20-plus years of experience as a regional preservation advocate, and where the field might go from here. A lifelong resident of Philadelphia, Steinke has formerly served as general manager of Reading Terminal Market, finance director for the Center City District, and the first executive director of the University City District. He will be joined by Preservation Alliance Advocacy Director Patrick Grossi, who will share insights on his day-to- day work and the state of preservation infrastructure in Philadelphia today. A select number of this year’s Preservation Achievement Award winners will also be shared, representing recent best practices in historic preservation work throughout our region.
