Paul Levy
President and CEO of Center City District, will provide an introduction, using the occasion of CCD's recent Congestion Report (https://goo.gl/FLz2JC) to consider what has changed in Philadelphia since the last report was issued a decade ago. The introduction will help frame "congestion" as a mobility and economic development concern.
Christopher Puchalsky
Director of Policy, Office of Transportation & Infrastructure Systems, will address the City’s planning and programmatic approaches to improving mobility in Philadelphia and the resources required to do the job well.
Denise Goren
Denise is now a Senior Strategic Advisor at WSP (an international transportation planning and engineering consultancy). She played a leadership role in the Managing Director's Office from 2014 to 2016, and served as a Deputy Mayor for Transportation under Mayor Ed Rendell.
Erik Johanson
Director of Innovation, SEPTA, will discuss SEPTA’s attempts to work with next-generation transportation networks (Uber, Indego, etc.), how the authority is adapting to congested conditions and what changes it is considering for its own networks.
