The Preservation Alliance and Preservation Pennsylvania are leading a statewide coalition to strengthen the historic tax credit program by increasing the annual aggregate cap and making it more accessible. Currently, the PA historic tax credit program is capped at $5 million annually, drastically lower than the average of those states that have caps, which is $36 million. A higher ceiling on historic tax credit funding would help to make numerous historic redevelopment and rehabilitation projects viable, preserving more of our cultural landscape while igniting economic development in PA.

The DAG Steering Committee is proud to join this coalition and supports efforts to increase the capacity or the historic tax credit program.
