J-centrel is SHIFT’s latest project - setting the standard for how developers can create spaces for residents and businesses to engage and participate in the community. Through the Good Neighbor Program, CàPhê Roasters, IF Lab, Everybody Eats, and more, J-centrel is an essential part of SHIFT’s mission as a B Corp Certified social impact real estate investment firm.

Brian Murray

Brian Murray is SHIFT’s CEO and Founder. He is focused on finding better solutions at the intersection of society’s most difficult urban challenges - intergenerational poverty, urban revitalization, access to opportunity, and community displacement. Brian earned his MBA from the Yale School of Management.

Margo Geppert

Margo Geppert is SHIFT's Senior Development Manager. She worked on the development of J-centrel from pre-development through the end of construction over the last three years. She also designed the Good Neighbor Program logistics for both residents and community partners. Margo is earning her Master’s in Real Estate Development from Georgetown University.
