Welcome to the Design Advocacy Group
As a voluntary coalition of concerned citizens, DAG relies on digital communication tools to inform and communicate among its members. This website was developed to further enhance that capacity. We wish to thank the William Penn Foundation without whom this online forum would not be possible.

This is a particularly relevant topic given Mayor Nutter’s plan to create a Deisgn Review Advisory Board. Brownlee is a historian of architecture and city planning and author or co-author of books on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Penn campus,Robert Venturi and Denise Scott Brown, and Louis Kahn.
